Catch the Skiers at Tuck's!

SOLO - Wilderness First Aid

Learn how to manage an emergency in the backcountry from qualified AMC Solo certified instructors. This comprehensive two day course at Camp Harrington in Boylston, MA covers standard emergency care with an emphasis on backcountry long-term care and evacuation. Optional CPR training, Friday night. Memorial Day Hut Adventure

(Strenous/Moderate/6-8 miles per day). Escape for 2 nights and 3 days of great hiking, food and fun at Greenleaf Hut. Sat. hike 5.8 mi. to Greenleaf Hut via the classic route over Lincoln and Lafayette of Falling Waters, Franconia Ridge and Greenleaf Trails. Sun. we will head back up the Greenleaf Trail to the Garfield Ridge Trail to Mt. Garfield (7.8 miles). Mon. we'll head down Old Bridle Path and back to our cars (2.8 miles). Moderate paced (1.5-2mph) over rugged terrian, should be comfortable carrying 30-35 lbs on Sat's hike. Trip includes 2 nights lodging (Greenleaf Hut, Self-Service), 2 bkfsts and 2 dinners. Cost $90 members, $100 non-members. Lmt to 10. Payment in full req. to reserve your spot. Reserve Early, trip fills quickly!

4th of July celebration in the Adirondacks
